Sugarmill is a bountiful bedroom neighborhood in the northern area of Sugar Land, TX. It is conveniently bordered by Kathi Lynn Lane to the north, Burney Road to the west, Lakeview Drive to the south, and Eldridge Road to the east. The town’s history dates back to the Civil War when a significant landowner purchased 2,000 acres of land. Littleberry Ambrose Ellis bought it in the Mills Battle and Cartwright Leagues way back in 1868. Afterward, he bought an additional 3,300 acres of land to the north. After some time, the area became a sugarmill, and soon enough, various commercial establishments emerged—residential homes developed as well, following the modernization of the site. Now, the Sugarmill neighborhood is full of possibilities and beautiful properties.
